If your teeth need specialist
treatment our in-house team
of qualified practitioners
are here to help.
Which treatment?
Barbican Dental Care's specialist dentists have
qualifications in three key areas: Prosthodontics,
Orthodontics and Periodontics. As members of the
Specialist Register they have also met the strict
requirements set by the General Dental Council.
We will refer you to one of our specialist dentists
if we feel a higher level of knowledge and skill
is required.
A Prosthodontist replaces missing teeth and restores
damaged teeth using crowns, bridges, implants or
dentures. Their aim is to establish the correct bite
and improve the person's smile. Prosthodontists
may also perform root canal treatment.
An Orthodontist also corrects a bite or a smile.
They do so by straightening the teeth and improving
the relationship between the upper and lower jaw
to enhance a person's appearance.
A Periodontist treats problems associated with
the gums and the other structures that support the
teeth. They ensure that the foundations are safe
for the prosthodontist and/or orthodontist to carry
out work on.
